Loved the property. We liked it in the Bookings.com pictures and the write-up, but in reality it exceeded our expectations. The view of the lakes and mountains are stunning, and you can enjoy it from the balcony or the pergola above the house (where we had our breakfasts). Sankt Gilgen is lovely, and much my favourite of the other lake towns/villages we visited.

Everything Usually we write a short review but this place deserves a few more words From the moment we stepped in, the room aroma made me feel like i was in a hotel. From the decor to the amenities including toiletries (conditioner, disposable tooth brush) to kitchen facilities (dishwasher, washing machine with detergent, toaster, toastie maker) they were well thought out, intricate and felt homely yet posh. Jams, tea and coffee capsules were also provided. The terrace view was excellent and the kitchen allowed us to make our meals each day with an excellent view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Even 2 blankets were provided on the sofa to cozy up in. The host was also very responsive and attended to our queries immediately. Parking was a non issue. Location was perfect (only with a car) - very close to supermarkets(just opposite) and activities including the town centre, cable car and swimming areas.

The view of the lake is amazing. The property is well positioned for some down time and relaxation. Onsite parking is very convenient. The kitchen is equipped to make meals if required.

After travelling through Europe this was the best apartment we stayed in and was much better than the photos. Included fantastic kitchen facilities to cook, comfortable bed and large bathroom which included washer/ dryer. The view was stunning showcasing Austria’s lakes and mountains. Willl return
