Great breakfast, fantastic view, really kind staff. Loved it!! We had a private balcony with an amazing morning view.

As many others have commented, you don't come here for comfort but for the experience. So do come if you are into (Soviet) modernist architecture. Also, the breakfast is amazing, it might actually have been the best breakfast on our trip! Absolutely recommended if you stay at the Writer's House. It's simple but everything was a lot fresher than in the 3 and 4 star hotels we stayed on our trip. Communication with the owners was interesting: in a mix of English (with the owner's son) and Russian. All in all, we would come again :)

The views from the rooms and the restaurant overlooking Lake Sevan were amazing! Quirky architecture with somewhat sad history added to the mystique. Restaurant resembled a grand ballroom from a bygone era.

What a fascinating place, with an intriguing story, even if a little past its prime.. Rooms are simple but the view from the dining room is stupendous. Good straightforward food. Great location.
