It is not located in town but it’s tucked away so it feels like a getaway. It’s about a 15-min walk depending on your pace. We got a private room and they had personal hammocks out front, which were nice to chill in.
The rooms themselves were small, but had everything we needed. AC, a private bathroom with decent water pressure, and clean. They even had a TV in there which we didn’t use. They had some cabinets for valuables (bring your own lock) and a coat hanger.
The property had a private gym too.
When we stayed there, they had two resident cats which we loved! They hung around the check in lobby area as well as the property.
The hostel is situated close to the beginning of the famous trail to remote beaches such as Praia de Lopes Mendes.
