I paid $16 USD per night. Great value. I didn't shower because in one bathroom someone left a poo and didn't flush then in the other there was crap all over the shower floor. Ensuite didn't seem worth it. Clean and quiet if you turn up the fan. Dirty towels, look like rags for the ground. Be sure to show the price online, they quoted me double in person until I showed them my booking. But!!! It's great value for the money and it's clean.

Difficult to access, to get to the hotel you have to go up stairs. The room was good, quite small but for the price it is understandable. The view on the other hand is not at all suitable it was right in front of a building under construction. The location is right in the heart of downtown Rio. Tobacco, restaurant, pharmacy nearby. I recommend for the price

Very good location, just 15 min away from down town and 7 min from Flamenco beach, which is gorgeous. Hotel is basic and totally worth the price. Street can be gross, especially when you go left towards down town. Not too dangerous.Across the street there is a fancy Windsor Hotel ( why to overpay?). Breakfast was good: eggs, sausages, bread, fruits and coffee, totally enough. Rooms are small and showers are small, but it doesn’t matter, really. Noisy ac and hard to sleep when it’s on. Hot out, 30C, sudden rains and sun, unpredictable. Uber helps. From hotel to Botanical garden, with pretty view on the Christ, 5 USD . GIG airport 15USD. Will stay again for sure.

Loved tye fact that they are located close to the center of the city. Though I do like to walk a lot. Also, the staff where friendly and I like to keep my room key, as in most south american countries you leave it at the desk. They did not mind. The breakfast was ok, had all your basics, eggs, cheese , coffee and other good things. Front desk staff are friendly as well. Room was clean, and great for the price overall.
