We had a wonderful stay. The staff was great and the breakfast at the cafe was excellent. The Pousada is located so that there is just a short walk to the beach and right on a bus stop so you can get to other parts of the island easily. We learned that Barra is an exceptionally busy place during the high season, but we enjoyed the town and the long walks on the beach.
We love Pousada Barratur so much that we came here two years in a row.
The individual bungalows include everything you need and everything is absolutely spotless clean! Many thanks to the cleaning staff who do a great job every three days.
It’s a very quiet place which allows you to relax. The reception is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and has a lot of variety.
The location is great as everything is in walking distance: smaller grocery stores, fruit stores, restaurants and the beach of Barra da Lagoa.
Very cozy apartment and enough space for 2 people! The kitchen was very well equipped and bed was comfortable. We can definitely recommend it!
