Dong Van is one of the main stops on the Ha Giang Loop but if you want the option to walk into town after a short 15 minutes, but still avoid the thousands of 20 year old tourist, Plum Homestay is a great option. The entire facility is very quirky in a very positive way, with small bungalows that are very modern but still adorable with great views as well. It’s much more modern than most homestays in Ha Giang, so it was definitely a comfortable sleep.
A very quirky construction. Fun to stay in and a great stop on the loop. Great breakfast buffet.
The accommodation is good, and the household items are quite good actually.
Bungalow was great, we had beautiful view. It's close to city centre. Heating also worked great.
Plum is such a unique little carve out built into the hillside -- full of personality, but also comfortable. We stayed in a bungalow, and loved it; quite, private, great views. Dinner was delicious, and made to order. We'd absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend it to others completing the Ha Giang loop for a refreshing rest and recharge!
