Ideal location to use as a base to explore Basse-Terre. If you need to go to Pointe-a-Pitre or points in Grande-Terre it takes forever by public bus. You don't need to rent a car to move around, but going places by bus and autostop takes time. Very convenient restaurant and grocery store next door, with very reasonable prices. Blandine was very effective helping me organize tours and transfers.
The owners are very nice! And it's women owned which is Amazing. Friendly hostel to sleep and to enjoy life.
