Stayed in the area for some days during my nothern German road trip and decided for this Hotel in Sterup, which has some long history, which you also learn about as part of the Hotels design, hosting travelers ever since. Everything was super clean and the room equipped with some wonderful old furniture, the owners having a good eye for details. In case one stays there, just don't go to your room, also walk around in this historic building and you will find some incredible surprises, like old wall paintings and others ... I just don't want to spoil it. I for sure will pick again this Hotel being in the area.

Nice coffee and filling breakfast. Trusting staff, came in a bit late but it was no problem.

Interesting house! Big loft with sofas, microwave oven, and stuffed birds. Church-like big room for wedding receptions and the like, with a little stage.
Nice breakfast served out of a viking ship. Oil paintings directly on the walls showing the surroundings as they looked around 1907.
Very comfy beds too, and big bathroom with soap, bathtub, shower. Parking outside next to the house, at no extra charge. Lovely staff.
