Friendly staff, location. Really good water pressure in showers.
I visited this hotel in 2023 for lunch. It was wonderful and they have my favorite white wine -- Thorsten Krieger. I wanted to stay here at the hotel and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful small village and the hourly train took me to the lakes where I could hike. This village is also known for their hiking, a waterfall where people bathe. Early December was not the peak season so I was given a huge double room that has an extra little sitting room with bottled water, a plate filled with cookies and milk chocolate (replaced every morning). The breakfast was wonderful and I also received personal service, making scrambled eggs to my liking. The staff spoke perfect English and they were super friendly. I would love to stay there again. The guests get a ticket for free and discounted activities -- heated pools -- and they also have a free sauna at the hotel. There is much more to tell.
The Bier garden was an excellent setting for a great dinner.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Friendly, helpful staff, loads of choices for breakfast and dinner, a cosy room with a view. A great base to go and hike and cycle from. I couldn't recommend this more.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, in spite of the language barrier. The hotel was an ideal location for hiking in the area. It was very quiet, the service and food was wonderful and the sauna after a long hike was brilliant. We loved our stay here and will be back.
