The owner was very friendly, rooms were excellent. Just down the road from the waterfalls. The food in the restaurant was outstanding!! I grew up in Heidelberg and visited the black forest often as a kid. So many things have changed over the last 25 years, but this place still has the original black forest charm, now with updated and modern rooms. Real Germans, true to tradition. Would and will recommend!!
Nice cold air conditioning, right in downtown, unassuming exterior but lovely in the room, bedding and shower amenities.

Breakfast was unavailable for Tuesday morning so was not applicable.
The rooms are very nice, the heating is super good, the hotel is in the center, next to the city river - waterfall, just keep in mind is not the one located in the first photo (not the large forest waterfall), anyways the location is very good, central and well connected and is nice to go out and see the river and walk over there.
