Amazing historical hotel with lots of charm. Breakfast was delicious and abundant and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A true gem.

Most of Freiburg is pretty but this location is especially so. The people at reception and breakfast were very welcoming and friendly as well as patient with my Germenglish. The room was good for me, comfortable and with a nice enough view. It was easy to come and go.

The breakfast was simple but sufficient. It is right in the Altstadt.

Location is key. They are just right inside the old city and you can reach the most beautiful arquitecture just walking. The reception/Bar staff was Amazing and so kind. They made my staying there so much better. The girl who checked me in just did it at 9 pm because my train arrived late and they didn’t hesitate to show me my room and also explain to me about breakfast time and the facilities like the showers, etc. They knew that I would stay for the 1st of May and my train back to Paris would leave on May 2nd at 6 am and they just let my breakfast at the door to go( sandwich and coffee) since I wouldn’t be able to get breakfast at the hotel hours for my very early checkout. So Five stars to this amazing Staff.
