The staff and the location was excellent. Also very comfortable and spacious rooms. Quiet area you can get a good rest after long driving.

As soon as I arrived I was made to feel welcome, I am forever thankful to the owner (whose name has left my brain, I'm so sorry) for going above and beyond for me in so many different ways. The room was basically an apartment, a huge lounge area and separate bedroom/shower and basin. The toilet being outside the room was no problem at all and everything was very clean and well organised. If you are walking, get off at Bad Reichenhall station and not Piling because you will have to cross a busy road.

The owner wanted our stay to be pleasant in every way. Breakfast was good, and the room was clean. When we arrived it was her Ruhetag and the place was dark but we phoned and she opened up and made sure all was in order. We were the only guests in the place. It was all quite modestly fitted out, but for our one night passing through all was fine.
