The staff were very helpful and although we arrived late the had no problem providing us with a very good meal. We will definitely stay there again when we are in that area.
Comfortable bed and nice quiet rest in a charming small street.
Best for those without a car though more parking at rear will become available soon (the owner informed me) and public one is 4 euros or so talking to local residents. So maybe booking can bring description up to date with these points ?

Everything is near by RESTOURANT and bars
Genuine inn like atmosphere. Brilliant location in old town, near everything I wanted in Recklinghausen. Room had super king bed and tv and toiletries in bathroom. Family run makes a difference. They let me check in early ! Home cooked food in the restaurant and cosy beer garden out front. And the price was a bargain. What a find.
the location is historic center, old historical building, there is a restaurant downstairs but the noice does not reach the rooms upstairs, has a home-like atmosphere.
