Friendly, clean and flexible with cancellation available until 2PM the same day (which I didn't use). Didn't try the breakfast as I only needed an extra bed over Christmas.
Located 5 minutes (by car) outside the centre the Schleifmuehle is a great place for business travellers. The hotel is a bit aged but well kept. The rooms are tidy and quiet. Free Wifi and parking are offered. I did not sample the breakfast, as I was visiting family, but I heard it is good.
The room is small but functional. The bed is comfy, there is a couch and a desk. A balcony looks out onto a meadow with a small brook bubbling in the foreground - idyllic, very relaxing. The water pressure is great. Breakfast is available and included in the room price.
