In contrast to many other hospitality options in the Harz, this little gem of a hotel was absolutely lovely. The owners were very friendly and open. The homemade cakes they offered were marvellous and had the most pleasent presentation. The breakfast was not overwhelmingly lavish but offered many homemade jams and a nice variety of bread, coffee, drinks, and muesli.
