Location, right off the street. Overlooked the river and hostess was fantastic. Food was awesome and didn’t have to leave for anything once you arrive. The room was very dark and that was great! The bed spread was lighter than other hotels so I didn’t sweat. The breakfast was great, dinner fantastic. View of the river outside was very nice.

The owners were very accommodating about our late arrival and we woke up the next morning to a lovely view from our room. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy a meal at one of the outside tables in the charming garden area. Since we were arriving late at night we appreciated the convenient location to the Romantic Road.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was better than i was expecting and had facilities for free tea and coffee. Location is incredible too and parking was easy.

We stopped off here for the night on the way back to Scotland with our motorcycles . We were a bit dubious at first as it seemed empty with no one about - however the advice said we couldn't book in until 5pm and we were early - so everything was closed as per email. However as stated at 5pm the hotel opened then an influx of people arrived to book in and also for dinner. The hotel has a different look during the day from the evening. The garden was lovely with amazing views and the lighting gave it some ambiance after dinner ..I ate too much ! Food was amazing and staff couldn't do enough! Rooms were clean tidy and spacious and also away from the main hotel so nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
