This country-style hotel is quietly located in the green surroundings of Burgen in the Mosel region of Rheinland-Pfalz. The family-run accommodations is based just 1640 feet from the River Moselle. It may look a bit all fashioned, but we were very positively surprised. Room was very clean and spatious. Breakfast was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our little kid.
This property is right out of a travel magazine. If looking for an original slice of Germany, stay here. The property is next to a babbling brook. Not very far from the banks of the Mosel River. Stay was sooo very friendly. The night Manager spoke some English, but did everything to make us feel wanted. Wonderful evening meal. Schnitzel or fish are only options at night. Wonderful bar. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Everything was done with pride.
Beautiful setting, atmosphere that was easy and welcoming. Lots of outdoor seating and dining areas in addition to private patio. Delightful staff. Walking distance to the Mosel and river cruise and restaurants in charming Burgen.
