The location was the reason we selected the Ring Aquarium, but the first floor family room, delicious breakfast and pool are why we loved it!
Aquarium is our home away from home when we go to northern Germany. We have been coming back here for over 15 years. Aquarium never disappoints. Placed in the heart of Friedrichstadt the hotel is smack in the middle of absolute charming surroundings. The private parking is very appreciated and makes it easy to visit the hotel. The asparagus dishes are amazing and the rooms are wonderful - a perfect blend of renovated modern facilities and preserved old charm that match the soul of the surrounding city. We love this place.
It was a rather nice atmosphere at the hotel, spacious room an very tidy. The restaurant was nice, and the breakfast was really good.

Breakfast was good, but expensive. The location was excellent.
A lovely hotel in a very nice setting, with trees and a canal passing outside the front aspect. Helpful staff and a good breakfast in a spacious dining area.
