I loved my balcony with a view of the Alps. It was the perfect place to have my first cup of coffee--with a kettle and coffee provided. I don't know why other reviewers complained about the reception staff. Both women I dealt with were excellent. The restaurant next door had great food, and there too the staff were very friendly. I came to Penzberg to go to the very good art museum. If I had more to do there, I would have stayed at the hotel longer.

Good location, 10min on foot from main train station, close proximity to bus stations.
Very clean, newly renovated bathroom, big bathroom and room. Comfortable bed
Breakfast was very good, the eggs were fantastic and the coffee is very tasty
