The views were spectacular. The hotel was located in a quiet outcove by the mountainside. Very serene. The few staff there were very polite and accommodating. I had a great experience.
Wonderful location and views from the hotel were second to none. Staff was great and breakfasts were excellent.
The Avaton is a destination hotel and we will definitely stay there again.
Beautiful location set away from the hustle and the bustle. Every morning breakfast was served to our bedroom, outside on the terrace, if weather permitting. The view was absolutely exceptional of the caldera. Walking distance to nice restaurants in Imerovigli, easy to get to other areas of the island from this area as well. The staff was welcoming and had recommendations for dinner and activities. We had an amazing stay at Avaton, and hope to be back!
The staff is AMAZING and it seems like there are there instantly when you need anything. The breakfast was included and was excellent. Breakfast is brought to the room every morning at whichever time you choose. It is directly on the famous path from capital to Oia which is very convenient and beautiful. Was able to park my rented 4-wheeler in the square just down the footpath with no issues. Surrounding food options were top notch. The spa amenities (steam room, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna) were able to be utilized with no additional fee, assuming no treatments. It is located at the highest elevation on the cauldron so it can get windy but the views are worth it. Avaton Suit was worth every penny. My wife and I loved our stay and are very thankful for the hardworking, trustworthy, friendly staff. LOVED IT!!!
A superb hotel with good views of the Northern part of the Caldera in Santorini. Good value for money.
