Everyone at Plakias wants you to have a relaxing and memorable time. Menus are explained to you with enthusiasm and shopkeepers welcome you. Our apartment was at the western end of the town, above a nicely styled cafe, close to restaurants, bars and the lovely smaller Skinos Beach. It was an older style and dated apartment. Our apartment was positioned to have the sleeping area avoid direct sun. It had reliable aircon, a functional bathroom with bigger than usual shower area and large terrace. We enjoyed hours sitting on the terrace looking out to sea. Helpful Cafe owner who has the keys. That Cafe services the beach lounges on beach below. Attentive cleaning staff. We ate at Throubi and Muses.

Everything was better than expected. Photos match the place, very comfortable, close to everything and the beach is one stairway away.
