This apartment really worked for us. The location is good. Everything was spotless and comfortable. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, in any season, was provided. Efi was super helpful with excellent recommendations and very responsive! We look forward to staying here again!

It felt like being at home.

Having been used as a family home and repurposed for short-term rentals, it projected a homely feel and had everything you needed. It's conveniently situated within walking distance of everything, a historic city, a fishing port, and amenities.

Yannis, the host, was truly amazing and kept presenting unique gifts such as local wine, raki, and soaps.

We loved it

The apartment is absolutely lovely, spacious and beautifully furnished. For a family of four adults, we really liked the multiple sitting areas, big couches and balconies. The hosts, Efi and Georgios, were responsive to all our needs. They arranged car rental, airport taxis and made excellent restaurant recommendations. When we needed a few extra kitchen items, they were promptly provided. The air conditioning that can be controlled in each room was fantastic and very much needed in a heat wave. Nea Hora beach which is great for swimming and fish restaurants is a very short walk from the apartment as is the Old City. Chania is an exotic and unique cross between East and West and La Vita Moderna was a perfect accommodation for a Crete visit.

Excellent location close to the public beach and the downtown. Very nice 3rd floor apartment with lovely balcony that catches the sea breeze. Georgios was super helpful and gave great restaurant recommendations!
