Very quiet and peaceful. Location is great. Friendly staff.
The food was wonderful, the location completely stunning and the overall experience was very relaxing. The pool and beaches are beautiful and there is everything you need for a great holiday. Staff work hard to make everything pleasant. Taxis to Patitiri or the beautiful old town are available if you want to get out of the resort and soak up a bit more of Alonissos.
I really liked the breakfast, the location was good but a rented car was a must. The main point of the island is the port which is only a 8 min car ride from Marpunta resort. Make sure you check https://www.instagram.com/checkinn_here
The resort is an excellent destination for relaxing and truly recharging your batteries. We were not so font of the island so we were lucky that we stayed at such a great place. Breakfast and the meals were excellent and plentiful while staff was very friendly and accomodating. When a mishap happened with the pool bar menu, the manager Argyris was very professional and eager to listen and resolve the issue. Special thanks to Danai, head of the main restaurant, who has a special quality to make you feel welcomed and always eager to accomodate the guests.
Fantastic view of the rooms but only for those (extremely expensive) facing the sea. Very good breakfast (but I wonder why they stopped fresh orange juice machine. I suppose that they didn't want the clients to drink a lot of it, which is not logical since we paid a lot of money for our staying)
