We loved the location best of all. A clear view out over the beach and a hundred yards for a dip. Having breakfast on the balcony was a joy. The apartment was well sized and the downstairs was airy and really well laid out. The kitchen was complete for all our needs and the owner welcomed us with an extensive pack of goods to begin our holiday with, including plenty of bottles of water and tea and coffee making products. The beds were all very comfortable which is so important on a two week stay. The bathrooms were both a good size. The grounds of the property are also a plus. We sat out and had lunch under the shade of the tree and enjoyed the flowers and calm of the garden. All in all, there was nothing lacking in the property. Our second floor apartment was clean, quirky and perfect for our stay. I would highly recommend both the property and host, who was generous and attentive throughout our stay.

Excellent location and stay. The apartment has fantastic terrace with sea view and less than 1 minute walk from the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby, a few good shops too. The host is very friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again in the future.

Tides on the beach apartment is quite simply stunning - we fell totally in love with this place and really did not want to leave! The apartment is extremely well appointed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The large balcony has the most amazing view over Sami beach towards Ithaca and has the sun virtually all day. It is two minutes walk to the beach - Stefanos provides chairs and umbrellas that you can take with you which was so appreciated. Stefanos is the most outstanding host - so friendly and so helpful - great communication before and throughout our stay , picked us up from the port and was so welcoming, on our arrival going out of his way to ensure we had a great time by providing us with tips and advice on places to visit and good places to dine. We will absolutely be returning to stay in the Tides on the Beach again next year
