The host was there and presented the keys and property to us.

Excellent location to basecamp for a visit to Legoland Billund. The property is isolated from the main road in a quiet corner of countryside between a wood and cultivated fields. During our stay we spotted plenty of wild fauna such as deers, hogs and hares. Bad weather prevented us from using the gardens, since the house includes a big lawn area with fireplaces and tables for outside meals.

Kurt, the host, personally greeted us when we arrived and he was very helpful and friendly throughout our 4-night stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and the place was very homely. There were even boxes of lego for the kids to have fun with and swings outside. We particularly liked the fact that the hosts were living right next door in a separate house so we could approach them when we had questions but still maintained our privacy. It was only a 10-minute drive to Billund (Legohouse, Legoland, Lalandia, Netto, etc.) yet we could enjoy the peaceful surroundings. FYI, there is a washer and dryer but they aren't in the apartment. Kurt would willingly show you where they are.
