The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are well kept. There are events for everyone from Spanish classes to Bachata lessons to Karoke night.
The people are lovely, the food is incredible, the 10 minute walk to the beach is peaceful and pleasant and the bar (included) at the beach is well stocked with snacks and drinks.
The young lady that checked us in (sp?Mulady?) was an incredible force of nature. Fluently speaks several languages and should really be working at the UN in my opinion.
I will definitely be back with my husband for our anniversary.
I upgraded my room from 1 double bed to 2. The new room had such a strong chemical odor that my eyes started to water, I got a headache and had to sit outside for a while. The cleaning crew brought in coffee grounds and put them in all the drawers which helped a bit but I decided to keep my clothes in the closet rather than put them in the drawers.
Perfect getaway. Staff was awesome.
10mins walk to the beach but got used to and pretty walk.
