For an older western man who just arrived in India, Peace International was the perfect 1st night hotel. The manager was very helpful and suggested I use their free shuttle from the airport. This was a relief as I got in at night and did not want the trouble that taxi drivers can bring sometimes. When I arrived, the manager saw my cane and put me in a ground floor apartment. He also provided an adapter for my phone charger. It's a non-smoking hotel and my room smelled fresh and clean. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked and was quiet and hot water was plentiful for the shower.. I had an early flight the next morning and the shuttle took me to the airport at 0430. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. I will always stay here when travelling to Mumbai.
