The staff were more than helpful. Every staff member I interacted with was not just polite and courteous, they were super helpful and went out of their way to spend time helping me with whatever I wanted help with. The gym was really good, with everything I needed to get a good workout. The room was clean and a good size. The restaurant had really nice food and was not over-priced (at least not more expensive than you'd expect in a very expensive country). Breakfast was also pretty good. I loved my stay at Hotel Island and would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Iceland. It's not right in the centre of town, but it was a 25 minute walk downtown. All the tour buses pick you up from the front of the hotel. There's also plenty of restaurants on the main road, which runs parallel to the street the hotel is on and is only 5 minutes walk. It's also only a 10 minute walk to the Laugardalslaug pools, which are an absolute must for anyone visiting Reykjavik. Nothing disappointed me.

Номера чистенькие, аккуратные, с верхних этажей хорошиц вид на океан. Персонал приветоивый, пошел на встречу и сделал нам бесплатный поздний выезд. Далековато от центра - минут 20 пешком. Холл отеля выглядит устаревшим, модернизация напрашивается))
