The history of the place and the rustic Viking feel. The sauna was in a beautiful location with the rocks and ferns. Their restaurant was excellent. Must try the fish pan and lamb shank. Their homemade tomato pesto is great. Everything was so delicious!!

Water front property. Awesome Viking inspired decorations and super cute! Comfortable beds, black our shades, no issues to report.

Cute and fun Viking theme at this hotel. The breakfast room was highly decorated. Breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious. Our room was clean and spacious. There was a lounge area in the hallway outside our room door. Elevator was very helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good location for visiting Reykjavik if you have a car. They are building a new room annex, so there was a lot of construction. Should be really nice when it is finished. Nice harbor location. Restaurant on site.

Nice, more unique hotel. Loved the theme and rooms. Our family had a little cabin on the backside of property. Rustic feel but comfortable and unique. Property is directly across from the water front and walking path. Very easy check and check out. Very friendly staff!

The location and staff were amazing. The facilities were great with a nice sauna and hot tub. There is a big grocery store nearby and it was a short walk to take the bus to downtown Reykjavik. Also, the breakfast was sooo good with lots of choices. Definitely enough to fill anyone up- make your own waffles with selection of toppings, bread, eggs, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt and juice, tea or coffee.
