Extremely helpful and friendly owners. They will happily recommend restaurants or hikes in the area, and are also open for a chat, if desired. Room was spotlessly clean, with very comfortable, cozy bed. Breakfast with lots of options included in the price.

Maria was exceptionally helpful. Gave great local advice. Very patient at explaining things to us. Booked a table for us at an amazing local restaurant. Highly recommend.

Alberg Taull is a great hostel for a short stay in the Boi Valley. It is an ideal base for organising mountain walks in the nearby Pyrenees or special trips to the unique Romanesque churches in the nearby villages. The hostel is run by Maria & Paul who are very enthusiastic about helping their guests with all their needs. They always have time to chat with you if you wish. They have recommended great restaurants in Taull for dinner. Maria prepares very tasty breakfasts :-) There is also a great view of the valley and mountains from the terrace at the front of the hostel.

The new owners - Paul & Maria - had just taken over at beginning of July 2024 and we were their first guests. This is a rustic auberge, rooms are very comfortable, good shower in bathroom, breakfast was great and very substantial. The owners were super helpful, Maria booked a table for us at a lovely restaurant that was just along the road and also directed us to a gorgeous old bar in the town where we could sit in the early evening sun in the garden and have a few drinks. We visited during a summer holiday touring through the Pyrenees - the scenery was absolutely breath-taking around Taull and the town itself was full of character, Can imagine that this is also a stunning destination in the winter as a base for winter sports holiday.
