The apartment was really spacious and super clean. It was furnished well and comfortable. The location is fabulous and if you're a hiker then it's a perfect base. Our dog was made to feel very welcome as bowls and blankets for him were also provided. We would return.

I would recommend a stay at El Retamar to anyone looking for relaxation away from the tourist hustle and crowds. The property is located in a beautiful place. After leaving, we have a full panoramic view of the Teno mountains or the coast and the town of Los Gigantes. The property is well equipped and comfortable. However, I would suggest to the caretaker of the facility to retrofit deep plates and a larger pan and larger pot. The altitude location in case of hot weather is a salvation.
