Really near the sea and the beach -- GREAT views from the hotel rooms! A variety of restaurants, a bakery, small shops etc. nearby. The hotel itself is situated on a beautiful garden lot with amazing views from the sunbeds to the sea. I spent hours and hours just looking at the sea -- and even saw some whales! We booked the full board and were quite worried about the quality of food because of the poor quality of photos on the internet. But the food is really good, there's so many different foods. Fresh fruit -- and a salad board that was very good! They even have tabasco (we chili-heads need our spices) =D There's food for vegetarians and gluten-free stuff too -- they have a special menu for gluten-free people, but that did not work as well as the rest (you pre-order your meals for the duration of your stay -- I hardly ever got what I had ordered. And if I did it was mostly cold and looked like it had been standing somewhere for hours. I had one really good stew tho! ) We were also happy about the Fair Trade tea . I did not like the horrible music they kept playing in the garden LOUD from morning until night. Seriously -- how about some lounge jazz or soothing ambient. People are trying to read and relax. The rooms were dated but the beds and sheets were of good quality. I was unhappy about the very expensive extra cost for the safe in the room.
