good, just what we needed. a functional room for one night. good value for the money
The room was very clean and simple. Plus the AC worked very well. VERY good location, 15 minute walk to the Palace, 3 minutes to the "shopping" center, and 5-10 minutes away from many metro stations to travel further away. Plus many different bars/restaurants within a block or two.
We were a bit weary from our travels from the USA. We walked from the Metro maybe ten minutes with luggage on wheels to the Hostal. Our plan was to see if we could get our luggage secured and go for a while because it was not check in time. But our room was ready and it was perfect for us. Two twin beds side by side and very comfortable. We took a nap for several hours and then went out for a beautiful first night in the center of Madrid. We also had a cute balcony.
The room was good and had everything I needed. The bathroom and shower were great. The bed was a little hard and I didn't sleep very well.
Clean place, very well located, very friendly staff!
