The garden is beautiful plus the classic atmosphere.

The staff, especially the manager, were excellent. There was a celebration evening for St John and the manger arranged for us to join the celebrations. She could not have been more helpful. The location was good. It was quiet, but not too far from the beach by car. Parking was easy in a nearby free car park. The swimming pool was excellent.

I absolutely loved the location in the old town of Calafell. It was so quaint and quiet. I had a rental car so it was easy for me to get down to the busier town by the seafront. The hotel is so unique. Quite possibly the best hotel I've stayed in. Not because of the facilities because some parts were lacking but the overall feel of this place. I was warmly welcomed by Cielo and also the owner (I think his name is Salvador). It felt like staying with family. Sure the hotel is a bit old and didn't have all the features of a modern facility but it was part of its charm. The gardens are beautiful and I loved sitting out there with my cup of tea just relaxing either in the garden or by the pool. This hotel is special. I really want to visit again.
