Best location in Mundaka, very convenient and comfortable.

Hotel Atalaya was so charming, also the front desk person, also the town of Mundaka. The hotel was built in 1911 and retains its charm of the era - while having all the modern comforts for a stay. We loved the atmosphere of our room - soothing colors and seaside vibe. Breakfast was excellent. The free parking is a real bonus. Everything in Mundaka is walkable from Hotel Atalaya. We only wish we had been able to stay longer, and would love to return.

I was so delighted with this hotel, it’s quaint and charming in all the goods senses, and immaculately clean as well. The classic furnishings are just what you would hope for in a 1911 beauty. Another party checked In just after me and they said they were equally surprised and pleased at what a lovely hotel it was. All the guests there were quiet and respectful so very peaceful all around. The family running the hotel was also very friendly and helpful. Fernando? graciously helped me out a few times. This turned out to be one of my favorite hotels in Spain. Everything just came together beautifully. Mundaka was also a beautiful seaside surprise, my cab driver in Bilbao was justifiably over the top when he found out where I was going. I also went to Gernika on my departure which was very close.
