Unique location, right next to Montfrague NP. What a view, what a garden! What a breakfast. Dinner outside on the terrace, and for me, all vegetarian dishes. Carmen is a treasure! And birdwatching start right there and then.

We had a wonderful stay at the finca of Carmen. Carmen is a very nice host, and also a good cook. The location is wonderful, in the middle of nowhere. Please be aware that you have to travel a dirtroad for 10 minutes from the mainroad before you reach the finca. When we were there, there were no other guests which added up to the experience of tranquility. Laying alongside the pool we watched the sheep and geese coming by. In the morning we watched the vultures in the air looking for prey, in the night, laying in the pool we could enjoy the milkyway. Total relaxation. Places like Caseres and Trujillo are on an one-hour driving distance. Guadeloupe is a longer drive.
