Fantastic location, friendly staff, very enjoyable stay
The staff was the most friendly and helpful I have encountered - and I have travelled on four continents for my career. This is a country hotel with lovely views and a famous restaurant. On weekends it is a destination for locals.
The breakfast was great... lots of yummy homemade cakes lovingly baked by the grandmother.
The dinner was perfect... the hotel has a restaurant with delicious food and wine!
There is a lovely swimming pool but I didn't get a chance to to test it due to lack of time (and probably a little cool the weather at this time!)
The hotel is located high up above the lovely Fonti del Clitumno, right in the midst of nature with beautiful views and peace!
It is also close to Spoleto and Trevi, two lovely hilltop towns worth visiting!
The hotel welcomes you with open arms, at whatever time you arrive!
Alessandro and his mother are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them!
