the location is superb, right in the heart of the wine region and within reasonable driving distance from all major nearby citifies (Bologna, Parma, Modena, ...).
The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The rooms are comfortable and large.
The 90 min we got in the spa was a nice surprise.

The room and the setting of the hotel are just gorgeous - the property is magnificent and IMMEDIATELY one feels relaxed and welcome. The food is very good - as is the choice of wines. Very nice Spa facilities as well...
Absolutely charming and peaceful...
Lovely property on a restored medieval villa, captures the beauty of antique properties with modern layouts and services. We stayed on the La Piccionaia room on the 3rd floor. The spa was great for a rainy day, garden and outside pool are great for peaceful reading.
