This place is lovely. Bear in mind it is not a full service hotel wth a lot of staff.. It is a family's lovely elegant traditional home. There is no restaurant but there are delicious croissants and espresso in the morning, and many restaurants within an easy and quick walk. The house is spotless. The beds are very comfortable with delicious Italian cotton sheets. The owners" daughter Silvia was running the place because they were on vacation, and she was very nice. It was so quiet inside, I thought I was the only one there, when in fact there were 10 other guests, Mostly italians, so it is not touristy. One thing to bear in mind. The ceilings are about 15 feet high, which means, long staircases to carry a heavy bag up! I imagine if I am ever back in Certaldo, I will book Cosseta Guest House again.
We wanted a BNB in a smaller town that had a lot of charm. The Cosetta Guest house did not disappoint! Both the home and location were perfect for us! We wish we had booked a longer stay! The hostess, Sylvia , was wonderful! She provided a light breakfast and great coffee along with helpful information!
This is such a lovely home. Tranquil, grand and welcoming. I’ll be back!
The property is very beautiful with nice features and a high ceiling. The place has got a soul as it is a family house. Hosts are very nice and helpful. If I come back, I will stay there again. It is a short walk to Certaldo Alto-old town, and just 2 minutes away from the train station to go to Florence, Siena or any other city.
Gracious and friendly hosts made for a perfect stay. Breakfast was not expected and so it was a pleasant surprise. The house oozes with old world charm.
