We loved this place. The town was a little smaller and less touristy than many in the area and the view from the balcony has to be seen to be believed. We sat out after dinner drinking tea and listening to the waterfall across the valley. We got 3 day lift tickets and spent every day riding lifts and hiking. You couldn't walk almost anywhere without stepping on wildflowers and the orchids were so plentiful it looked like a sea of color. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance and not a one we tried disappointed.

Large room and bathroom with modern facilities. Kitchen well equipped. Amazing location within walking distance of many restaurants and sites. Friendly hosts with helpful local information. Lots of animals. Local eggs available for purchase.

Very nice and well equiped appartement with balcony (app. 157 Cardo), 5 minutes walk downhill to the nearest slope, shuttle bus from 3 to 5 p.m., 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest store. Note: there is no dishwasher in the appartement, but we knew it before the reservation

Clean and contemporary apartments with the most amazing view of the Dolomites. Parking included right in front. Colfosco is good choice as a base for exploring the many hikes in the broader region. We did Val di Funes (Odle) and lago di Sorapis, amongst others. While the town is perhaps less lively than others, Blackhill restaurant was great for pizza and off the menu Carbonara. For a good supermarket we went to Corvara, just a short drive down the road.

Great location, cost-effective apartment with very friendly four legged security :)
