The staff (everyone spoke some level of English which is quite rare in Italy), the food, the antique spirit of the hotel. We were very aware of where we were coming so there were no surprises. It may not be the case for other people.
We loved everything. The room was spacious and clean and they prepared a delicious vegan meal for us in the evening. They are also pet-friendly and welcomed our beagle to the hotel and restaurant.
Inexpensive, clean, quiet, super friendly host Moreno, good restaurant on site and totally dog friendly
Lovely and welcoming proprietor. Large room. We also had a lovely meal in the evening with a great atmosphere.
I'd definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money.
It's a good place to stay outside of Genoa. The hosts are nice, the restaurant is very good, and a huge supermarket is nearby.
