Pino was a great host and knowledgeable about all things pertaining to the battle of Monte Cassino. Rooms were clean and functional. A good breakfast
The place has a reception like a museum of the second world war battle of Monte Cassino.

Loved the location , the staff and Pino was a great host . If you are interested in the history of MounteCassino, this is the place to be.
The hotel and staff were amazing. Very good place to stay at a reasonable rate. A little off the beaten path.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Pace and would highly recommend it. The hotel is equipped with modern amenities including an elevator and bathroom fixtures. The breakfast was great including eggs, meat, cheese, yogurt and a wide variety of pastries and fruits/juices. Cappuccino and other coffees were brought to the table each morning.
The best part of the visit; however, was the wine-and-cheese/pizza presentation of the Battle of Monte Cassino, and owner Pino's personal stories on the impact of the war. His family was hiding in the Benedictine Abbey during the bombing. His passion is to present interesting information and perspectives on the WW2 battle to the current generation. He speaks English well and his staff is very welcoming and helpful. Our visit to La Pace turned out to be the most interesting stop on our Italian vacation.
