We had hired a car to drive from Venice Marco Polo - and it was useful to have, although there was a local shuttle service that ran from the front door of the hotel. The food at the hotel was excellent; a huge choice at breakfast and a 5 course dinner - again with a varied menu - I dined in every evening - partly because I am lactose intolerant and the chef & staff really made every effort to accommodate my dietary restrictions. They were truly superb. (Thank you again!) The room was modern, large and very comfortable. The "Wellness Centre" was excellent (3 different types of sauna and a steam room)- never crowded, although the "rest room" could only accommodate ten. However, be warned, it is a "European" sauna!!
