Somewhat of a surprise as I expected a 'hotel' not an apartment with many rooms. Having said that it was very nice. We arrived before the 15:00 check-in to find it closed. Fair enough, check-in was at 3. The very nice and professional receptionist arride precisely at 3. Check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean and comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly - we didn't come to Genoa to spend time in the room. The on-suite bathroom was small but functional. The shower stall was very small, granted I'm a big guy. I chose to shower in the shared bathroom and everything worked out well at the end.
Getting to the third floor "hotel" is a challenge with it's minute elevator that only fits two people and a small suitcase. If you have a backpack on you, you better enter the lift in reverse because you won't be able to turn around. All part of the adventure. And, yes, I'd stay there again.
