They updated our double room to a very comfortable suite (we had a booking for two rooms but we had to cancel one in the previous days) at the same price, gave us good suggestions for dinner and even a ticket to get breakfast in the nearby coffee shop since we had to leave early in the morning.
Hotel Trieste was a great location for our family! We were within walking distance of pretty much everything. The location is great for accessibility but also has a beautiful property that doesn't make you feel like you're in a concrete jungle.
Breakfast is minimal in true Italian style, but absolutely has options, mostly pastries.
The bar is open all day which is great for espresso and afternoon drinks.
The staff was always friendly and accommodating.

The property was absolutely beautiful. We didn’t get to enjoy the garden due to rain but the view of it was great. The staff were wonderful and made sure we had things we needed like a fridge.
Didn't expect much of that town but it turned out to be a very interesting detour from the tourist traps at Lago di Como nearby. This place is right in the city center with plenty of medieval architecture and gardens to discover, along with some nice restaurants.
