We needed to extend our stay in Verona an extra day but not pay the high, last minute prices in the city center. La Casa di Varda was a perfect place to recharge for the evening and it was very close to Porta Vescovo which made our next morning’s travel very easy. The communion from the host was the best and the place was incredibly clean. It was a 30 minute walk to the arena and the property is just outside the city wall by a block or two.
The host, Varda, is very nice and communicates very clearly. The room is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and useful.
I liked that has good conexion with the public transport and to get to the city. The checkin was super fast and she had prerpared the room earlier than expected, which was a big plus because we wanted to leave our stuff and take a shower before starting to discover the city. Another big plus is that it has AC, super big plus!
Great stay at la Casa di varda. A little outside Verona but buses available and only a short walk.
