Great location. Short walk to the port. Lots of shops nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Anna and Antonio are great hosts! They even came to meet me and my husband at the Port. We had a pleasant walk back to the property and they were exceptional and warm people. Anna recounted a bit of the local history. They responded to our questions and needs in a timely and very pleasant fashion. We will DEFINITELY return to stay with Anna and Antonio. I strongly recommend you stay there, too. Anna made our anniversary extremely special with a note and amazing baked goods. She was also an angel for spending 20 minutes setting up the cable to get the channel I really, really wanted to watch! Wow! We loved the lay-out of the property with a balcony that looks out over the neighborhood. We had a very special stay here.

The location was perfect, the apartment was clean and fresh, the terrace amazing, and the host was super nice, friendly and helpful! If I go back to Forio I will definitely want to stay here again.

It was our second stay at La fortezza, this time we stayed in one of the upstairs apartments, which was even better than the one we had (and loved) previously - it had a small balcony with sea views and a cute espresso maker in addition to all the things we loved the first time - great hosts who communicate well, are very helpful and really care about their guests and their island; a spacious place, a washing machine, great location in walking distance to the centre of Forio, supermarket, bakery and restaurants. We were lucky again to be in Forio for the St. Vito festival celebrations and we could see the big fireworks from our balcony. We were treated to a lot of breakfast snacks, beautiful large lemons from Anna’s garden, a bottle of wine and delicious orange cake, which added to feeling immersed in the local community.
