Leslie and Stefano were very hospitable and it was good fun to talk to them. They were very happy to help with every aspect of my stay.
As a woman on my own, I felt very safe there. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast each day was very fresh and there was a good selection of sweet and savory food on offer. Their coffees were excellent too.
Lory House is very well situated for the Vatican and St. Peter's Square. I decided to walk every where and got to the Ara Pacis Museum very easily from there. I did not use the metro system but saw that it was close. I walked and used buses and taxis. Taxis can be hailed from the street in certain locations. Using a taxi app was helpful. Using the bus is straightforward.
Everyone I met was very helpful and friendly in Rome. It was a delight! I recommend using Lory House and I would have no hesitation in using it again.
