This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. So cozy and comfortable and absolutely beautiful. Erica, the host, has everything under control. She picked me up at the bus station, and went out of her way to help me with everything from my bags to finding adapters to arranging for an extra night’s lodging when I got stuck. Every day, she brought me a pastry from a local bakery. The view from my bedroom was amazing. There were treats in the rooms when I arrived, which was great because I was tired and hungry . To walk in to Nero Giacondo is to immediately relax and feel welcomed. Such warmth! I will be back. Thank you Erica.
Erica is a very generous and accommodating hostess, who made our stay very comfortable. The views are delightful and the rooms comfortable. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

Erica was a wonderful host. We ended up with a suite, not a room, and the view from the bedroom was absolutely magnificent. The place was well-stocked and very clean. When we ended up leaving our bag behind in a restaurant, Erica drove out to pick it up and locate us on the street. Above and beyond, and very sweet. Whne I come back to Anghiari, I will be staying at Nero Gioconda.
we were greeted by our beautiful host Erica,
the apartment was located a short walk from a square that we were able to drive to and drop off the luggage. a free parking area was nearby to park. The apartment was perfect. there was a large bedroom window overlooking a scenic view. with the help of our host we mad dinner reservations at Cantina del Granduca where we had a terrific meal. of pasta and rabbit. be sure to visit.
after returning to our apartment to our surprise Erica had lit a very nice fire for us and we enjoyed with a cup of tea before bed. we had stayed at many B&B’s over the years , this trip will be a 5 week trip with 21 B&Bs
I would say that this was one of our most enjoyable stay’s. We would highly recommend
Nero Gioconda.
