I loved that the hotel is high up on the mountain and enjoys cool air in summer. It's secluded in the forest far from any town. The hotel is very dog friendly and everyone comes down to eat with the dogs. The view from the balcony is stunning! Dinner was good, albeit with a busy service. The breakfast was very good for its type - continental (they did have eggs!). Overall a great stay. I'd definitely stay here again. Maybe next time I'll come for more than one night.

It is very unique on a grand scale with great history. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful views! Definitely worth a detour to stay here! Restaurant had delicious food typical of Piemonte. If you’re anywhere close I’d make an effort to go.

Outstanding setting, amazing views, quiet and idyllic with a touch of Wes Anderson.

All staff was very helpful and polite, both at the restaurant but specially at the reception!

Nice place in the mountain side. Even free breakfast was served.

Location was great, lovely old building with character, great terrace for an evening drink
